| Any surgery involves the
risk of bleeding, infection, delayed healing and poor scarring.
Each facelift procedure has its own inherent risk of nerve damage
which could lead to numbness around the ears or weakness around
the lips or forehead but these are not common. Smokers risk
tissue necrosis which is caused by lack of circulation in the
altered areas and may cause difficulty in healing. In all surgery
early post operative depression is a common factor. However
this condition usually improves over time, especially as tissues
